As a Nigerian contemporary painter, silhouettist, and multimedia artist, I, Yusuf Akinkunmi Lawal, draw inspiration from my ancestral roots in Osun, Nigeria, and the rich Yoruba heritage that surrounds me. Through my art, I seek to capture the essence of life in all its forms, using the symbolic language of marine creatures, African motifs, and abstract expressions.

Working primarily with pen and acrylic on canvas, I create vibrant, thought-provoking visuals that invite viewers to immerse themselves in my world of imagination and emotion.
